Well we had our first ultrasound today! It was pretty incredible! This whole being pregnant thing - still kind of call it the crazy! But after today it finally feels "real"!
There was a definite heart beat - (114bpm) and the babe measured in at 6w5d so not too far off from what I guessed! (I'm still going by my chart because that makes today an even 7 weeks!)
The babe kind of looks like a little sea monkey so that's what Sam & I are calling it for now. We probably will continue to call it that the whole time since we don't intend on finding out the sex we don't want to label it him/her and call it the wrong thing! That would be traumatizing :P
Not much else to report out! Everything looks great so far! So about 5 weeks until we finally start sharing the news! Don't know how the parents are going to react! But there's not much that we can do about it! :P
